Rapid Prototyping
Professional grade, high quality prototypes that match your design and accurately represent your end-product performance and functionality compress the time and cost required to successfully bring your new product to market. For over two decades we have been helping companies like yours affordably and reliably bring the prototyping process in-house.
If your need is for prototype models early on in the design process, Production 3D printers make it easy to produce multiple concepts, iterate quickly and get quality feedback.
If robust testing for form, fit and function is required, our Production 3D Printers offer the highest level of accuracy and precision. To find out which solution may be best for your prototyping needs click here.

Deep inside the GM Design building where future products from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac take shape and substance, an elite team fashions components, intricate sub assembles and entire scale model cars from highly specialized three-dimensional rapid prototyping manufacturing equipment from 3D Systems. >> Read the entire article
Cheetah Tool Systems develops and manufactures high-speed blind rivet fastening systems. They used 3D Systems’ SLS® Technology to design and build durable, light-weight production parts with the help of a preferred parts service provider. “If the 3D Systems’ technology wasn’t available, I would have needed a million more dollars and with all the intricate parts, it would not have been possible to complete the riveting tool.”
Two 3D Systems customers teamed up to create SLA and SLS models of a home for a Lousiville, Ky., family featured on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.” DuraForm PA and Accura 25, two “Go Pro” materials solutions from 3D Systems were used so that Patrick Henry Hughes could “see” the shape and layout of the family’s new home through touch.
"In motor racing, you can't put a price on how much that is worth. Aerodynamics is easily the most cost effective way to extract performance, and 3D Systems' technologies have become an essential part of our aero development."
“Compared to traditional fiberglass or carbon fiber panels which require tooling, we saw a time saving of weeks. Using SLA® technology through 3Dproparts™ gives us a full body kit in a week. This can make all the difference in the world when you’re under a tight deadline.”
