What is laser sintering?

Our SLS® Production Printers build durable parts directly from 3D CAD data without tooling by converting powder materials and composites into solid cross-sections, layer by layer, using a CO2 laser. SLS® Production Printers offer high throughput, build size up to 30 inches (750 mm), unmatched part durability, and a wide range of print materials.  No process better addresses functional prototyping or direct manufacturing applications where part toughness and durability are required.
